[Bug 680239] New: NM/Gtk-applet: when changing modes for network disable data, not remove
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=680239 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=680239#c0 Summary: NM/Gtk-applet: when changing modes for network disable data, not remove Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Mode: DHCP, Auto, Manual, etc. You define connection mode for each network interface. Currently if you change mode all data are erased, which of course work for _new_ mode, but if the switching was mistake (for example, you switched from Manual to DHCP instead to DHCP-address only) you have to correct mode, and then enter all data again. It would be much more useful if entered data were disabled in given mode. This allows simply mode switching without need of re-entering them again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
