week when I use the search functionality that comes with the new KDE SUSE Menu (beagle)
Beagle contributes only some results to the menu search. If you don't rely on file content search, can you for a while deinstall kdebase3-beagle package (or stop beagle running) and see if it make the search more stable? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I stopped beagle running which makes the search stable. Since a week I haven't encountered a crash. actually (I think) there are 2 problems with beagle running and search functionality in KDE menu 1: kicker crashes randomly using search 2: If you click the gecko and do a search: results come up. Then if you hover to the results they disappear because you hover above the different tabs in the menu. With beagle disabled search results stay there until you click a tab. (which works fine) I got some backtraces if needed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

My stacktrace is slightly different though. I have not tried to disable the beagle yet. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you!
