So you either have a broken user profile, broken firefox profile, strange browser extensions, tinkered CSS code in firefox, or whatever. Simply start the system in a freshly created VM, log out (because it automatically logs into X11) and log in (to KDE Wayland), start firefox, hit ctrl+t several times to create new tabs, click on one of them and try to drag it, and it will fail.
