For example, on the attached worksheet, with Conditional Formatting : If a cell value < 5, apply the custom style LightRed. Next, under Find & Replace, when More Options > Search For Styles is checked, only the Default style is available under the "Search For" list. It probably has something to do with the style only being used within the conditionally formatted range.
