thanks for the report. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce it. As I see in my Apache access_log the browser always requests the correct location of theme, for example "GET /phpMyAdmin/themes/original/img/pma_logo.png ..."
Maybe my initial comment wasn't clear enough: this *only* happens for error.ico, all other files are requested from the correct location.
Is your phpMyAdmin and Apache configured properly? Could you try to use configuration files which came with the package?
config.inc.php doesn't contain unusual values: <?php $cfg['blowfish_secret'] = 'topsecret'; // no, this is not the value I use ;-) $i=0; $i++; $cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'cookie'; ?> Apache config: phpMyAdmin is accessed on a virtual host (using https) and, since everything else works, I would call it "configured properly" ;-) I just grepped phpMyAdmin for error.ico with the following results: /css/phpmyadmin.css.php: cursor: url(<?php echo $GLOBALS['cfg']['ThemePath']; ?>/original/img/error.ico), url(../<?php echo $GLOBALS['cfg']['ThemePath']; ?>/original/img/error.ico), default; /themes/darkblue_orange/css/theme_right.css.php: cursor: url(../<?php echo $_SESSION['PMA_Theme']->getImgPath(); ?>error.ico), default; /themes/original/css/theme_right.css.php: cursor: url(../<?php echo $_SESSION['PMA_Theme']->getImgPath(); ?>error.ico), default; I wonder if the first result (css/phpmyadmin.css.php) could cause the problem since it has a second path as fallback defined... I will mail you the complete lines from the error_log and access_log, maybe it helps ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Well, I really cannot reproduce the problem. Firefox always gets the correct URL: 127.0.0.1 - - [04/Jul/2007:14:29:05 +0200] "GET /phpMyAdmin/themes/original/img/error.ico HTTP/1.1" 200 318 "http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/css/phpmyadmin.css.php?token=382f5db16406bd4f692e543208607eb0&js_frame=right" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20061023 SUSE/2.0.0.2-27 Firefox/2.0.0.2" But I found some information which could help us: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1342683&group_id=23067&atid=377408 >From phpMyAdmin Changelog: * themes/*/css/theme_right.css.php, css/phpmyadmin.css.php: bug #1342683 Wrong URL to error.ico The fixes look like these: http://phpmyadmin.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/phpmyadmin/tags/RELEASE_2_8_0_4/phpMyAdmin/css/phpmyadmin.css.php?r1=7696&r2=7772 http://phpmyadmin.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/phpmyadmin/tags/RELEASE_2_8_0_4/phpMyAdmin/themes/original/css/theme_right.css.php?r1=7719&r2=7772 The URL of error.ico is made only in those two places: 1) in themes/*/css/theme_right.css.php 2) in css/phpmyadmin.css.php Please, could you experiment with that code a bit? Or could you find out which browser your customer uses? As soon as I would reproduce the bug I could do the experiments and fix it. Congratulations on your new job! :-)
I guess this means PHP and PHP apps will be even better supported now...
;) back to the report... this is a fairly minor issue, can you reproduce it with 10.3 beta 2 ? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Not yet - I just wanted to test it, but had to file Bug 306556 instead :-( The CSS code has changed quite much and /css/phpmyadmin.css has been moved to /, therefore I don't want to guess based on the code. Needinfo to myself until I have a working MySQL again... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
