[Bug 788030] New: package obs-service-download_files does not provide COPYING
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788030 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788030#c0 Summary: package obs-service-download_files does not provide COPYING Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: giecrilj@stegny.2a.pl QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/534.34 (KHTML, like Gecko) konqueror/4.8.5 Safari/534.34 The declaration of license in obs-service-download_files is bogus because the required license text is not provided. This is a minor bug in that the package can still be used because the openSUSE project owns the copyright (IIUC). It cannot be redistributed in its present shape though. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. { rpm -qi obs-service-download_files; } 2. { rpm -qd obs-service-download_files; } Actual Results: 1. License : GPL-2.0+ 2. Expected Results: 2. /usr/share/doc/packages/obs-service-download_files/COPYING -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
