So there seems to be two things needing to be done: 1) Configure nepomuk to start by default 2) Change the default soprano backend from "redland" to "virtuosobackend" -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

For me live cd build 0600, I don't get the error message, but nevertheless, Nepomuk is not running by default on a fresh install which it should.
So to some extent the bug is still valid.
Actually, do we really need running Nepomuk by default on a fresh install? I´d prefer disable it personally. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=575149 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=575149#c10 --- Comment #10 from Martin Schlander <martin.schlander@gmail.com> 2010-06-04 15:14:18 UTC --- It was decided in an IRC meeting some time ago to have nepomuk running by default, but with strigi disabled. The reason is mainly that kontact/akonadi will complain if nepomuk isn't running. I think nepomuk is rather unobtrusive, as long as strigi isn't running. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
