Please change the product. One of my SLES 11 SP1 systems is a member of an AD domain. Three domain controllers are Windows server 2003 and one of them is Windows server 2008 R2. Winbindd is running and its the backend of passwd and group databases in /etc/nsswitch.conf (together with compat). Can you either re-check the core, or install debugsource and debuginfo packages and redo the backtrace?
Or perhaps you have a ulimit stopping you from a full core file.
Additionally, could you post the winbind logs?
OK, it was ulimit's fault. I set winbindd's corefile size limit to unlimited and installed debuginfo and debugsource packages for samba, openldap and glibc. Now I'm witing for a crash.
