https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=803481 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=803481#c0 Summary: Dragging Icons Into Taskbar Prevents KDE From Accepting Mouse Clicks Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: PC OS/Version: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: malv_star@hotmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 When attempting to drag any item into the KDE task manager panel to create a quick launch icon, or when attempting to add a widget to the taskbar, the action is not completed. The mouse cursor then displays a "ban" symbol over it and the user is unable to click on any further objects in the desktop space. They can still move the mouse however, and keyboard input is still supported. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log in to KDE. 2. Open KMenu 3. Attempt to drag Dolphin icon from "Favourites" into Taskbar next to KMenu icon Actual Results: Dragged icon remains on the screen, no further mouse clicks by the user are accepted as input. Expected Results: Icon is placed on the Taskbar for future quick launch usage without incident. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
