Yes right the 0.11.3 runs fine, but i miss the helix banshee and the helix engine. The 0.11.2 helix banshee, that comes within the media on 10.2 hangs up and stays in the startup screen "..initializing audio..." . On the console it returns, that no networkmanager runs and that this is needed. But also enabling that didn't changed the issue. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=222055 ------- Comment #3 from abockover@novell.com 2006-12-12 09:35 MST ------- Glad that 0.11.3 runs okay. In early betas of openSUSE 10.2, we were shipping Helix Banshee from SLED as we had not yet updated the packaging. In the final product, we cannot ship the Helix Banshee packages as they are proprietary and can only be distributed in SUSE/SLED. However, only the open source (Banshee) packages can be downloaded through the external repository at this time, so if you want to diverge from the distro using the upstream Banshee repositories (software.opensuse.org), you will lose Helix support. You can download the GStreamer plugins to play back proprietary media however. NetworkManager has nothing to do with the Helix engine, it just happened to be the next component to initialize after the player engine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
