[Bug 903747] "Internal error" in kernel.rb during upgrade
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=903747 --- Comment #22 from Ron Widell <rrwidell@gmail.com> --- (In reply to Lukas Ocilka from comment #21)
*** Bug 908246 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
While 908246 may be a duplicate of this bug, it's for installation on an 1586 system. Moroever, while applying the workaround noted in comment 18 eliminates the pop-up error message(s), it doesn't seem to do the whole job. After the system reboots and gets to the graphical login screen, it I open virtual console 1 (tty1) using CTRL-ALT-F2, the very first line reads: [FAILED] Failed to start Load Kernel Modules. See "systemctl status systemd-modules-load.service" for details executing that command, basically tells me: Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/system/systemd-modules-load.service; static) [...] Process: 525 ExecStart=/usr/lib/system/systemd-modules-load (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) So it appears to me that while the error message has be eliminated, the actual error has not. Please let me know what other info I need to provide. Thanks, ron -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
