Can't view any of those bugs...they're marked internal for Novell. Any idea on how to get around this bug? Or when will be resolved? An official update will be available soon.
If you cannot wait until the official update is released you might want to use packages from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/updatestack/openSUSE_11.0/ This repo contains the packages that are in the pipe and wait for being released. First of all I want to say sorry for not giving a simple answer to your question. We didn't use your patch because we had a tested bug fix in a later product already. The reported bug was fixed in openSUSE 11.1 but this fix was missing in openSUSE 11.0. Marking the bug as duplicate had removed this bug from our radar and the fix hadn't made it into openSUSE 11.0.
