[Bug 310813] New: one click installation: canceling password dialog causes "An unknown error occurred."
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=310813 Summary: one click installation: canceling password dialog causes "An unknown error occurred." Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- I did a short test on the one click installation, but clicked "cancel" when I was asked for the root password by kdesu. The resulting screen in YaST was: Software installation Unfortunately the installation has failed, see the log file at /var/log/YaST2/y2log for more information. Failure stage was: Unbekannt Fehlermeldung An unknown error occurred. Well, I think clicking cancel is common enough to make it a "known" error ;-) How to reproduce: - click on any ymp file (for example one found on software.opensuse.org/search) - click "continue" several times - when asked for the root password, click "cancel" instead of entering the password -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
