[Bug 474440] New: NetworkManager observance the WLAN-Switch only at startup
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=474440 Summary: NetworkManager observance the WLAN-Switch only at startup Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: axel.braun@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121300 SUSE/3.0.5-1.1 Firefox/3.0.5 According to comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=446013#c50 and bug 441903 I open a new ticket. Boot of the system with WLAN turned off via killswitch, eth0 (build-in NIC) enabled: Network is working. Send laptop to sleep (which is not part of the problem), wake-up, no eth0 attached. Instead, wireless network gets enabled via killswich: Networkmanager does not recognize this. I manually have to disable wireless in knetworkmanager and enable it again before it works. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. see above 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
