It appears that if I had this packaged installed opensuse 10.3 is unable to remove it. After installation I tried it by myself -- no success. The problem is with preun section -- so I executed rpm with option to ignore this section. On the other hand opensuse 10.3 installer tried to upgrade VB and this attempt failed. It shouldn't happen. I cannot repeat this, but I am pretty sure you could remove/install/refresh VB on 10.2 (because I did couple of times changing VB from 1.5 to 1.4 back and forth). So, it was possible in 10.2, it should be possible in 10.3.
