It had two issues first stunnel.service: Start request repeated too quickly. Nov 05 11:20:09 dinasor systemd[1]: stunnel.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'. This I changed by changing the systemd unit to RestartSec=5s #Restart=always RestartSec=5s The second issue unfortunately is still there causing stunnel not to start 2020.11.07 13:39:39 LOG3[main]: Cannot create pid file /var/run/stunnel.pid 2020.11.07 13:39:39 LOG3[main]: create: Permission denied (13) NAME="openSUSE Tumbleweed" # VERSION="20201030" ID="opensuse-tumbleweed" ID_LIKE="opensuse suse" VERSION_ID="20201030" If you need any more info let me know -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Fixed for Tumbleweed. Looking into Leap now.

In the unit file: comment out or delete the lines with Restart and Pidfile. This fixes it for me.
