Therefore I set in Firefox (3.0.3) the default page size to "A4": Menu -> File -> Page Setup: "Format for" "Any Printer" to "Paper size" = "A4" After I submitted a print job to the printer, the printer complains that the print job is in 8.5x10" (letter) and there is only A4 paper in the trays present. I had the choice to replace the A4 paper with Letter in the trays or to [C]ancel the job. As I don't have any Letter paper here, I had the only choice to Cancel the job and the printout is lost now!!! Printer/model: Xerox WorkCentre 7232 I had the same effect when "printing to file": gv shows that the page size is in Letter size. Firefox also tells (even after restart and re-checking Page Setup) in "about:config" filtering for "paper": print.postscript.paper_size = letter print.printer_Print_to_File.print_paper_name = na_letter I guess selection in Page Setup menu doesn't change anything.
