3.cannot access tty's
What happens if you run (as root) chvt 1 or chvt 10 ? (If this switches to the tty successfully, then something[tm] is "stealing" the key presses.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Sorry for asking again: How can I provide more than one file without making several replies?
You can't - that's a known restriction of bugzilla. (Workaround: make a tarball.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

In case of KDE you can find symlinks to cache and temp directories in
$HOME/.kde4; it is usually in form of "cache-

Please try to disable or uninstall plymouth and see if it still happens then.
I don't know how to disable plymouth. What should I uninstall? I don't want to destroy my system. Uninstall the package plymouth. plymouth-scripts and plymouth-branding-openSUSE will be uninstalled as well because they depend on it. Or just rename the file /usr/sbin/plymouthd. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I'm not a native english speaker. That's why I dare to ask, what "RESOLVE" means?
It means that Bug number 801865 has been closed because it is duplicate of bug number 811185 - see "status: resolved duplicate" and a number. Don't worry about English, this is about bugzilla bureaucracy :-) And, before you ask, bug 811185 has been also closed as "solved", not because it has been solved for you, but because they found a solution and there is an update being prepared which you should get shortly. There is another status named "verified" which you can set when you verify that it is true. Or reopen if it is not. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
