[Bug 1231482] [Build 20241008-SELinux] openQA test fails in boot_into_snapshot: root: no shell: Permission denied
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1231482 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1231482#c5 Arvin Schnell <aschnell@suse.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flags| |needinfo?(cathy.hu@suse.com | |) --- Comment #5 from Arvin Schnell <aschnell@suse.com> --- The snapshot creation is spread over YaST and snapper. One place is: https://github.com/yast/yast-installation/blob/master/src/lib/installation/s... AFAIS YaST calls 'snapper --no-dbus ... create ...' then. But usually snapshots are created read-only right away (by passing the read-only flag to the btrfs ioctl). I do not see how user space can do anything here. From my point of view modifying the snapshot would even run counter to the whole idea of snapshots. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
