Is this a regression? If yes, we need to narrow down the regression range, as it might be a false positive in such a case.

If this starts happening since recent updates, you can try to re-install the old kernel packages from TW history repo, boot with the old kernel, and verify whether the behavior is seen or not. http://download.opensuse.org/history/
It'd be a good information if you can find out which kernel worked and which not.
