[Bug 296146] New: KNetworkManager should pre-fill old setting if something goes wrong when connecting
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=296146 Summary: KNetworkManager should pre-fill old setting if something goes wrong when connecting Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: s.illes79@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Sometimes when the NetworkManager can not connect to the AP, the wireless setting windows pops up to fill in the setting again. It's very annoying that you have to type all the info again, even if you know that nothing has changed. I reckon that the NetworkManager thinks some info has been changed, like password, etc. And it can be right, sometimes ... So it would be great the pre-fill the old values from kwallet and from the config file, so if it was just a temporary conenction failure the user don't have to fill in the values again. In such a case I always close the applet and restart it and it wont ask the setting again :) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
