https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=223729 jsmeix@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX ------- Comment #1 from jsmeix@novell.com 2006-11-27 00:51 MST ------- The HP Color LaserJet 1600 is what is caled a "GDI" printer because it does not support any standard printer language, see http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:GDI_Printers and http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Purchasing_a_Printer_and_Compatibility The HP technical specification and the HP web page show the model as "Host-based" (i.e. no standard printer language support). The model is not supported by HP's driver, see http://hplip.sourceforge.net/supported_devices/unsupported.html The driver foo2hp is not included in our products. Therefore a PPD file is useless without the matching driver. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
