I have a brand new 10.3A3 install and it does not work. I tried both from a terminal and from a tty. Could it be a KEYTABLE setting? Today I had to manually fix a 10.3 install and it was still present on that computer, and it is still present on my fully-updated install. grub version is grub-0.97-82 .
