I then pointed to the DVD iso using vmware and tried to install opensuse 10.2 into vmware. It will start loading the status bar when I hit Enter on the Installation option, but as soon as it gets to 100% of loading the linux kernel it hard locks to where I can't do anything. Business issue: I have marked this as Critical because I see two business issues with this. One is that there are many users that like to evaluate openSUSE using vmware. I tried this on two workstations. If I use the DVD it hard locks after hitting install. If I do a network boot I get a kernel panic.
