The screen is 1280x1024 and only 1024x786 is used. So I start YaST->Hardware->Graphics Card and Monitor and change the setting to LCD 1280x1024 60Hz and I save the settings. After that I logout and login with the screen now on 1280x1024. The problem then is that the Desktop Folder, with the icons Firefox etc. is no longer on the Desktop. After a new installation I logged out went to the Console, did a init 3 and started sax2 to change the setting to 1280x1024. After init 5 I am logged in automatically and now the Desktop Folder is still there.
