It plays longer, so I think it plays the first, say, 1% of the file. Next, Amarok hangs. The VU meter freezes. Amarok itself is responsive. Please close amarok and install the gdb and yauap-debuginfo packages Afterwards run gdb yauap inside the gdb prompt type run -noexit this will startup yauap. After it started you can run amarok. yauap inside the gdb session should now print out what is going on if it crashes type "bt" inside gdb and send us the output.
