[Bug 462318] New: Google calendar invites not recognized in evolution
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462318 Summary: Google calendar invites not recognized in evolution Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Evolution AssignedTo: bnc-team-evolution@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ruchir.brahmbhatt@ecosmob.com QAContact: lakhil@novell.com Found By: Community User When I receive calendar invites from outlook, evolution recognizes it and I can see options to accept, decline, etc. However if someone sends invite from google calendar, it shows up as normal HTML mail and I have to manually import the ics file to get it in my calendar. This was working fine until opensuse 10.3(evolution 2.12). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The mail is shown as some poorly formatted text, and the ICS file is shown as an attachment, with no other activity taken. The mail message is accessed from a Courier imap server. I would not think that made any difference, since the message content is the same. In all cases, when I view the message source it is a MIME with multiple parts, including a text version, an HTML version, and the ICS file. Oddly, If I use the exchange plugin to access a message from the same sender, but read from an exchange server, it works as expected: there are buttons to accept and all shown in the message. Even more odd, if I look at an older message that worked with evolution in the past (accessed via the same Courier imap server) it works as expected. My initial impression is that the message content has changed, and the exchange plugin gets this correct, while the imap does not get it correct. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Disabling this plugin makes the calendar invites working again.
