[Bug 925374] New: apcupsd drags along fontconfig libgd3 libjbig2 libjpeg8 libtiff5 libvpx1 libXpm4
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=925374 Bug ID: 925374 Summary: apcupsd drags along fontconfig libgd3 libjbig2 libjpeg8 libtiff5 libvpx1 libXpm4 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: per@computer.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I was trying to install apcupsd (as a client) on a xen host, i.e. text-mode only. It wanted to drag along: fontconfig libgd3 libjbig2 libjpeg8 libtiff5 libvpx1 libXpm4 Lots of graphics crud, for which this machine has no need. Seems to be dragged into by CGI functionality, perhaps %{apache_serverroot}/cgi-bin/upsimage.cgi. However, there is a apcupsd-cgi package, maybe those scripts belong in there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I overlooked that apcupsd requires libgd3 which is really what is dragging the rest in. I guess it's not a major issue, but it would certainly be nice to build apcupsd for use as a client without all this crud. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
