[Bug 223786] OpenOffice KDE QuickStarter (oooqs) does not work and crashes
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=223786 pmladek@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |kendy@novell.com AssignedTo|kendy@novell.com |ro@novell.com Severity|Normal |Blocker ------- Comment #1 from pmladek@novell.com 2006-11-27 10:01 MST ------- You are right. Thanks for catching the problems. add 1. The default path did not work because it tried to use /usr/bin/ooo-wrapper that did not longer exist. I have just committed the fixed package. I hope that it will be accepted for openSUSE-10.2-GM. (I hate myself that I did not test it with the default configuration this time.) Note: There were also another ugly bug. The quickstarter ignored the user defined path when the /usr/bin/ooo-wrapper was installed. I have fixed it as well. add 2. The crash was most probably caused by the 32-bit package OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter. We must use 64-bit OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter on on x86_64 because it is running in the 64-bit KDE systray. Note that the 64-bit quickstarter can exec the 32-bit OOo without problems. See the bug #50072 for more details. Rudi, could you please replace the i586 OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter package with the x86_64 native build for x86_64? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
