[Bug 538985] New: gnome-terminal won't honor --geometry parameter
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=538985 Summary: gnome-terminal won't honor --geometry parameter Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 7 Platform: All OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jeffm@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- This is a regression since Milestone 6. In order to work around gnome-terminal not having a method of specifying the default window size, my quick launch panel button for gnome-terminal adds --geometry 80x40 to the call. Since Milestone 7, the terminal window that pops up is 80x24. I've verified this by launching gnome-terminal directly from a command line with the --geometry parameter as well. I see this behavior with or without the system font. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
