If not, try to re-setup the sound via YaST. The problem of CK804 seems different, though. After checking the sound setup (and re-setup via YaST if needed), run alsa-info.sh in /usr/share/doc/packages/alsa with --no-upload option, and attach the generated file here for further analysis. Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Could you elaborate how did you test what? And, did your system work with older SUSE version? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Here is the new status. CK804 working fine now. I fiddled with volume controls and after a while I got the stereo. Default volume settings somehow are not correct. Rgrding Audigy card, its working fine on 10.3. (But 10.3 gives crappy sound compared to windows which I attribute to drivers) Even after adjusting volume settings (bass, treble, 3d, etc.) no sound on 11.0 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The sound out of the headphone socket is distorted when the software volume control is set to high levels. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
