http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=531677 Summary: rdesktop doesn't handle Alt+Tab and other special keyboard combinations Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: stefan.heine@hp.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 using rdesktop to connect to a Windows box. trying to use Alt-Tab to switch the applications inside the Windows system - but instead, it switches the applications on the Linux level. actually this behavior should be configurable in rdesktop with the '-K' option, with the default to 'to grab all keyboard input when it is in focus' (man rdesktop). but in the version of rdesktop in openSUSE 11.1 it doesn't act that way. openSUSE 11.0 worked ok, and compiling the rdesktop 1.60 from the developer source also brings the expected behavior. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. rdesktop <win box> 2. after login, press 'Alt+Tab' Actual Results: you'll find the Linux applications switching instead of the Windows apps Expected Results: the Alt+Tab should be handled inside rdesktop and passed to Windows. same behavior for other important keyboard combinations used in Windows, like Ctrl+Alt+Del. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
