The system is used as a multimedia PC, connected to a 32inch 16:9 TV screen (Medion). The installation DVD boots, I can see the message of the isolinux bootloader and then, in a flash something as "loading boot logo" and then nothing, no image anymore. However the drive activity shows that the DVD continues to boot normally. I had the same problem trying to install 11.4. Please try booting with the failsafe settings and report whether that helps. I can't boot with the failsafe settings as, from the moment as the isolinux bootloader starts to do his job my screen goes dead and I'm completely blind (no text, nothing, just in a flash something as "loading boot logo"). If there's a way to make isolinux boot with failsafe settings please let me know.

Holding shift en pressing escape the DVD booted in text mode and I afterwards the graphic screen appeared.
