So it is not the 2.6.23.16 kernel The problem is on SUSE CD, that the system crashes in the first selection menu, where I can select: boot from harddisk Install Install - ACPI disabled .. If I press any key or wait some 5 seconds, the system reboots. May be that the 5 seconds are allways the reason, not any keypress. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I get the boot screen with the menu. Pressing any ley results in a reboot.
while reading this again, i`d wonder if this is a kernel problem at all. so - you select "Install" and then you get the reboot, before you see that the kernel is loaded at all? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But there might be another problem with the K6: We compile for i586, I hope the K6 is fully compatible... Btw. there's not only SLE JeOS but also the openSUSE version called LimeJeOS...
