The summary says it almost all. The message that appears after pressing the "begin installation" button but before any changes are done to the disk is misleading. No matter what is the actual setup it always says that all partitions are going to be removed. It is nothing really serious but quite irritating when you are not sure if it is true or not, especially when you know what have you done through the custom partitioning. I had to abort the installation once and to run it in a virtual machine in order to make sure nothing bad is going to happen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start openSUSE 11.1 or 11.2 installation 2.Set your mount points by hand using "edit partition setup"/"cusom partitioning" 3.Save and go forward with the installation by pressing "Install" (or "begin install"? don't remember) Actual Results: A warning message appears saying that all my partitions will be deleted, even though I manually set the formatting and mounted only certain partitions. Not all.
