[Bug 1084588] New: Base:System/systemd-presets-branding-openSUSE: enable switcheroo.service
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1084588 Bug ID: 1084588 Summary: Base:System/systemd-presets-branding-openSUSE: enable switcheroo.service Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software Assignee: meissner@suse.com Reporter: luc14n0@linuxmail.org QA Contact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- The benefits for dual-GPU users are great with this service enabled by default. Being able to choose if an application will be run in e.g. the onboard graphics chipset rather than a dedicated GPU for energy economy would be such an enhancement of the user experience. Could you guys check switcheroo-control's service and see if is there any concern (the most important, security) about enabling it? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
