In the mean time, I tested the RAM with memtest : it showed errors for test #5 [Block move, 64 Moves] 2. Timings set from bios where 2-2-2-6, Ram manufacturer spec timings 2-3-2-6 3. gently touching one DIMM crashed the computer (->reseated the DIMMs) Now again running some passes of memtest.
