The page remains blank. Xournal also tops 100% CPU although UI remains responsive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attached PDF 2. Scroll to page 33 3. Actual Results: Evince becomes unresponsive, page content does not show up. I agree. But we dropped xpdf library from Factory, we have now xpdf-poppler package with xpdf gui only. It uses poppler as backend (as evince does as well). Question is, if we want to do update for older distributions (-> examine xpdf for older distributions) or if is enough to concentrate on finding fix for poppler (thereby fix evince). (Yes, fix for xpdf could be very similar.)
