So usually I use openSUSE, all things work fine, but I had to use Windows sometimes, so I booted Windows, there was a fail: only limited Network, so I reinstalled the Windows Network driver, then everything works. But after restart into openSUSE, I had no network connection anymore. The YaST Network applications says: no network-wire connected. (The configuration is right). So no I have no Internet connection anymore. My Hardware information: Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P Mainboard (integrated networkcard: 2 x Realtek 8111DL chip). My router is an easyBox 802 by vodafone, and I use a normal LAN wire to connect to Internet (Cat.6). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use openSUSE with network 2.restart into windows -> use network 3.restart into openSUSE Actual Results: I have no network connection anymore, YaST Network says no wire connected. Expected Results: I should connect with the network like normal. Dualboot with Windows XP 32 Bit SP3. So not sure what's the reason, what's your driver(hwinfo --netcard)? And how about remove and install the driver(rmmod xxxx; modprove xxxxx)?
