is the %post snippet the right way to fix this? In transactional mode rpms are not meant to mess with the running system, right?
The %post is from me from June 2018 and yes, it does not work with transactional-update anymore. But after it was accepted in June last year, I assumed that it will be part of Factory before we make the big /var cleanup. I would have never imagined, that it takes 7-8 month until it ends in Factory, after the big /var cleanup :( So it will not work on systems which have the new /var layout, but it should work with systems with the old filesystem layout, where /var was part of the root snapshot. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Does it helps/make sense to remove the move of the state completely?
