Knetworkmanger no longer crashes. Please carefully read my comment (21) from Bug 220234 and also see my attached files in this bug. I have downloaded and installed the new networkManager-kde-0.1r602671-5.x86_64 and the new dbus packetes that were/are available at * http://beta.suse.com/private/thoenig/10.2/ After the dbus update Knetorkmanger isn´t crashing anymore. I can see the icon of Knetworkmanger on the rigth side of taskbar on every start. But often automounter isn´t working, power status fails and kicker crashes. If i choose the option: Traditionelle Methode mit ifup in Yast, there will be no problems and crashes, my computer works well. This is already fixed for RC1 (but not yet synced out), so please use the test packages from the above bug or wait for RC1. The problem here seems to be that some library that kicker uses doesn't deal gracefully if there is no hald running. The issue isn't visible any more if hald is running, but it would still be visible if hald were not running for whatever reason.
