Which settings do you use in the print dialog when you print it from the Adobe Reader? Evince with default settings print normally. (also Portrait selected by default, autorotate and centrate by default). (Okular print orientation by default is Landscape! So I must every time use workaroud by changing properties of printing settings to Portrait) With "lp -d HP-LaserJet-1018 landscape_file_name.pdf" it prints very strange: large grey pixels, pixel's height is much more bigger than width.
