Not only on openSuse but also on Ubuntu - so digikam has a "not working" feature on board, for a long time now! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open digikam Preferences 2. Got to "Sammlung hinzufügen" in german version aka. "Add Collection" 3. Try to Add a Network Sahre as resource!
