[Bug 1228863] System asking for recovery key while booting a default mode encrypted Aeon system after automatic update
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1228863 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1228863#c13 --- Comment #13 from Han Hui Teoh <teohhanhui@gmail.com> --- In my case, even trying Artur Kaufmann's steps, while they completed successfully, `sudo sdbootutil --ask-pin update-predictions` still fails. 1. `echo 5 | sudo tee /sys/class/tpm/tpm0/ppi/request` 2. Reboot. 3. Got a scary warning about clearing TPM. Pressed F9 to proceed. 4. Got asked for recovery key, entered it and proceeded with boot. 5. `sudo tpm2_dictionarylockout -Tdevice:/dev/tpmrm0 --setup-parameters --max-tries=5 --clear-lockout` 6. `sudo systemd-cryptenroll --tpm2-device=auto /dev/nvme0n1p2` -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
