https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=461387 Summary: OpenGL applications freeze the screen Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: 64bit OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: matthias.meinke@gmx.de QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com Found By: --- I am running open suse 11.1 on a Lenovo 3000 N500 notebook with a Intel GMA4500 graphics card, message from Xorg.0.log: (II) intel(0): Integrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset After starting applications like googlearth or some games using OpenGl the display freezes, the last kernel messagees I get are: [drm:i915_getparam] *ERROR* Unknown parameter 5 [drm:i915_wait_irq] *ERROR* EBUSY -- rec: 100985 emitted: 100988 I can still access the system over network, but I cant restart X, so that I have to shutdown the system.
