Raw, clean install of OpenSuSE 11.4 with Qt development. Project which built perfectly under Ubunut. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! Build does not work. After you install everything Qt, including Mono Qt, and apply all updates, you can get it to compile. THIS DOES NOT MEAN IT IS FIXED OR THAT THERE ISN'T STILL A PROBLEM. I didn't ask if you had enough stuff installed currently for it to work in your environment. What I stated is that you don't have everything needed for a raw install of OpenSuSE and the Qt development package. All that ___should__ be required to build a Qt program which uses MySQL is the RAW OpenSuSE 11.4 installation, the qt4-dev stuff, and the MySQL Qt drivers/library/kit. When you install only this, the compiler cannot find ANY qt headers. The Qt4 development RPM should have installed all required dependencies, but something isn't getting installed. This is a symptom of a much bigger problem with the RPM packaging. I had everything you requested way back when I filed this bug, I no longer have the error messages and such now. Adding insult to injury, I'm out of boxes to wipe and play with. This is my main machine and I don't want to trash it now. I didn't say anything about a "pattern", I specified the one and only RPM which is required for Qt development, not "all things qt4". Yes, once a person is desperate enough to install EVERYTHING with "Qt" somehow mentioned in the description, it compiles. That, however, is not the bug.
