Most likely this is bug in the ALSA driver 'snd_intel8x0' ... Those 2 error lines from above and the fact that the snd_intel8x0 is listed on the "BrokenSoundDrivers" pulseaudio page indicate a high probability of timer based problems. To narrow this down could you try changing the "load-module module-hal-detect" line in /etc/pulse/default.pa to "load-module module-hal-detect tsched=0" and then restarting pulse and banshee. Does that clear up the problem. We then need to track down the base issue but this is a first step. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

And there are another problem the /usr/bin/gnome-volume-control-applet already running but couldn't display the applet icon, when I kill the applet and restart it works fine. I'll try to reproduce it, if couldn't reproduce it or any more details for this bug, you can close it, :) Thanks! -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
