That's https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430388, which is fixed in kxmlgui 5.78, released in two days. It should land in TW soon, so I don't think that backporting just the relevant commit makes much difference here. If you need it fixed (slightly) quicker, please reopen.
