https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=377614 Summary: Rename KDE CD ISOs (live and single) to KDE4 Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Live Medium AssignedTo: nc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: martin.schlander@gmail.com QAContact: coolo@novell.com Found By: --- Currently the ISOs are named like this: openSUSE-11.0-Alpha3-KDE-LiveCD-i386.iso I think it should be renamed to: openSUSE-11.0-Alpha3-KDE4-LiveCD-i386.iso Similarly the non-live CD should be renamed if it'll still exist for final release. openSUSE-11.0-Alpha3-KDE4-i386.iso (I didn't know which component to use to get in touch with the correct people, so I chose live medium). There are a few reasons for this request: - 11.0 will have two versions of KDE, some people who download the CDs might be (unpleasantly) surprised to find KDE4. Many users will want KDE3 which is only available on DVD - KDE4.0 is pretty immature, including "4" in the filename will serve as a small warning to users that something changed a lot and also a hint that KDE4 is not the only KDE option available on 11.0.
