Can not switch to text console, but for Power Off the power off process starting (but not finishing properly). (With grub "recorvery start menu" I can start the system.) However, we are using GRUB-1. Like the others we had a lockup/freeze on the first Re-boot and the second and... right AFTER the install ... which did NOT get finished. We finally tried the FAILSAFE boot and it went right into the System and FINISHED the Install. Has been working fine ever since. So far the only BIG problem has been the initial install. Let us know if there is a fix and we will try it.
